Musioilarose 6

Geranium oil is great.  I cut a finger while weeding yesterday (normally I would not be doing this for another month!).  I was too impatient to put my gloves on.  It was bleeding enough that I knew it would have to be covered.  I cleaned it and applied a drop of geranium oil.  The bleeding stopped, and it is healing nicely.  Good thing since I have a concert in a two days!!

Weekly Music Nugget 48

If I had been born much later I would have been in love with celtic dancing. I would have begged my mother to let me take lessons......please......could I do this instead of ballet?  PLEASE!!! It looks more fun than playing horses with my girlfriends!  And my ponytail would fit right in!  Oh, I would have been in heaven.  It looks SO MUCH FUN,
So....I have included a link to part of Riverdance.  Skip the intro...go in about an inch to do so.  I havn't heard this for a long time; I forgot how much I love the sounds and the dancing.  It penetrates my soul.

Plant Pics

This past Christmas I visited the Eden Park-Krohn-Conservatory in Cincinnati with my sister and daughter-in-law.  Today I am posting a few photos I took.  They include orchids and bonsai plants.  Oh, I love bonsai!!

Dashees Garden Tuesday 42

My latest DG activity has been getting a few items ready for Etsy.  The photo below is of two stuffed hearts which were cut from vintage linens.  The back of each is a pretty pale pink vintage linen.  The pillow trim is vintage tatting.  Each is about 5" by 5".  They are so pretty and soft....and so like spring!

Weekly Music Nugget 47

In April one of the groups I perform with will be playing The Walk to Paradise Garden by Delius.  I just listened to a fine orchestral performance on You Tube, the link to which is below.
A series of paintings by Atkinson Grimshaw accompanies the music.  I think this pairing of music and art is especially well done.  I recommend the video if you would like a few minutes of beauty and tranquility.  Just lovely!

More Snow

Yesterday we received more beautiful snow.  This time the sun was out so I took more photos, a few of which are below.
There is ice beneath the snow.  My photos of that did not turn out very well; there is one which shows a few ice sparkles.  So pretty!

He is NOT pooping!
